Steve Beck has been with Geneva Capital Group for 5 years and has over 42 years of banking, real estate financing, and investment experience. Steve runs our Indiana office working with a variety of clients and industry professionals in formulating opportunities. He started his career in 1969 at Indiana National Bank in commercial, asset-based lending. In 1986, he co-founded Huntington National Bank of Indiana where he helped grow their loan portfolio to $1.4 billion in ten years. From there, Mr. Beck held senior positions in commercial lending at First of America Bank and Peoples Bank & Trust of Indianapolis. In 2000, he founded Old National Bank of Central Indiana and led the growth in their loan portfolio to $480 million in four years. In 2003, Mr. Beck founded the Indiana Venture Center, which assisted high growth companies with their financing needs, both equity and debt. He holds degrees from Bellarmine University and Stonier School of Banking at Rutgers University and has taught finance classes at Indiana University and Ball State University. In 1996, Mr. Beck was named the “Entrepreneur of the Year for Indiana” by Ernst & Young.
